Euro Line

HISTORY

2009.

In 2009, we opened a modern business and distribution center in Vučkovica, Knić municipality, Šumadija region, Central Serbia, on 1.3 hectares. The facility includes an office building, warehouse space, state-of-the-art cold storage, and a transportation fleet for the delivery of food and dairy products. Located 15 km from Kragujevac along the main road Kragujevac–Kraljevo–Čačak, the center has been continuously expanded and upgraded to meet the needs of our growing business. This marked the beginning of our collaboration with a large number of customers and suppliers in the country and the region. Our fleet now includes 40 cargo and commercial vehicles, mostly refrigerated trucks.

2013.

In 2013, we obtained the HACCP certificate and a certificate of compliance for exports to CEFTA countries, being among the first in the country to do so. We expanded our operations to Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Macedonia.

2014.

In 2014, we experienced significant growth and adopted a new business strategy. We established a commercial department, expanded our logistics capacity, and hired new, skilled personnel. Throughout this period, we maintained a network of existing partners and customers, strengthened sales and distribution, and focused on new markets and regions.

2015.

In 2015, we renewed our HACCP certification and organized training for all employees to ensure its implementation. To guarantee the high quality, sanitary safety, and hygienic standards of our dairy products, we submitted a request for a certification that affirms compliance with food quality standards. This certification ensures that we offer superior quality and unique taste to the market, enhancing the trust of our business partners and consumers.

2016.

In 2016, Euro Line developed its own brands of food products:

  • Pastir dairy and cured meat products,
  • Bellisa mixed dairy products, and
  • Maja confectionery.

We introduced more than 100 products under our proprietary brands.

2017.

In 2017, we made our first major investment by building our first cold storage facility, designed according to the latest standards for receiving, storing, processing, and distributing food products. The facility was constructed and put into operation for the purchase, processing, freezing, and storage of goods. Advanced software systems enable product storage under temperature conditions ranging from 0 to +8°C, as well as in a separate section with sub-zero temperatures. This investment allowed us to expand our operations to include fruit processing and space rental.

2018.

In 2018, we became leaders in the import and distribution of German cheeses under the Jӓger brand (Edam, Gouda, Trappist) and dairy products from Lithuania and Poland. We also established stable cooperation with confectionery producers from Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina, importing chocolates, biscuits, candies, and cured meats from Croatia, Herzegovina, and Montenegro. Our expansion in Serbia included increasing our fleet, expanding our sales network, and forming a HoReCa division. Additionally, we implemented software to connect all departments and improved our warehouse system with WMS technology.

2019.

In 2019, Euro Line received authorization from state authorities to package dairy and cured meat products in a specially equipped facility with dedicated packaging lines, which also created new jobs.

We launched a new business segment: Procurement and wholesale distribution of frozen and fresh fruits and vegetables.

We also began:

  • Exporting to Europe,
  • Distributing to national retail chains in Serbia.

2020.

In 2020, we invested in new machinery and equipment for cutting and packaging fruits, vegetables, dairy, and cured meat products in special packaging (vacuum-sealed, sliced, grated with inert gas), adhering to strict hygiene and HACCP standards. During the Covid-19 pandemic, when agricultural households had surplus products, Euro Line, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, initiated the Epijace project to purchase surplus products and distribute them through our channels, primarily to retail chains. This was a significant socially responsible initiative.

2021.

In 2021, we invested in the construction of a second cold storage facility.

The facilities are equipped with:

  • Inspection lines, vibratory separators, washing and rinsing machines for fruits (barboter),
  • Machines for cutting and packaging fruits, vegetables, and food products in specialized protected packaging, including vacuum-sealed, sliced, and grated formats with extended shelf life, which saw increased demand post-Covid-19,
  • Machines for washing and rinsing fruits,
  • Machines for pitting cherries, apricots, and plums.

2022.

In 2022, additional investments were made in software to improve the operations of field sales teams, warehouses, and remote system units. New machinery was purchased, and cold storage facilities were expanded.

2023.

In 2023, we continued investing in new machinery and tools for packaging fruits and other food products, modernizing office operations, and renewing our fleet. We entered new partnerships, becoming the exclusive distributor for Serbia for the following brands: Primato from Montenegro, Berglandmilch Alpiland from Austria, Novofruct Day Up from Slovakia.

2024.

In 2024, the company transitioned to solar panels as a source of electricity, planning significant operational savings in the future. Investments in machinery continued, and the company began transitioning to a state-of-the-art WMS warehouse management system and initiated the process for obtaining the FSSC certification. We also entered a new partnership, becoming the exclusive distributor for Serbia for Panvita Ave from Slovenia.
